1) Career Lunch Seminar”Whose life is it? The unspoken disaster”

Dr. Hiroko Kobayashi, Associate professor at Fukushima medical University school of Medicine will visit Hokudai.
Her talk “ Whose life is it? The unspoken disaster” will be focused in the importance of making decisions during hard times and respect our choices.
The Career lunch seminar is supported by The Support Office for female doctors at Hokkaido University Hospital.

(ground floor, main entrance of the Graduate School of Medicine)

Contents :
The first part of the seminar will consist in a 30-minute lecture by Dr. Kobayashi.
After, all participants are invited to join us for lunch and actively participate in the discussion.

Deadline for registration:
Tuesday, July 21
*A lunch box will be provided free of charge to participants who have registered in advance.
*Participants who have not pre-registered are welcome to join the seminar
but no lunch box will be provided.

2) Transferable Skills Seminar – Interview Skills and Self Branding –

This transferable skills seminar is targeted for international researchers (DC, PD).
Seminar will be conducted in English.

Want to create your SELF-BRAND in 4 hours? Developing your vision and self-branding for your career is the most important element of your preparation for the successful interviews. The skill can be useful for any of your inter-personal communications opportunities including job interviews, paper presentation in a conference, public speech, or any presentations.

Seminar Objectives
・ Find out what to do in order to be successful at interviews with Japanese companies as well as Non-Japanese companies.
・ Discover/rediscover your strength, unique character. Clarify your core values and vision.
・ Learn effective and strategic communication targeted to a particular audience.
